Intertrend is hiring: 2025 Communication Intern, Hybrid (Long Beach, CA) in Long

The Communication Intern will have the opportunity to learn and experience different segments of the advertising/marketing industry. The areas that will be touched include paid media, owned media, earned media, and advertising analytics. Mentors are assigned to each individual intern to help foster professional and personal growth. Each year the internship is centered around a real-life client with real business goals. You will also be assisting on projects involving other Intertrend personnel for various clients and initiatives. 80% of the internship will be focused on client-based projects, while 20% will be focused on regular day-to-day projects directed by the Media team. Communication interns are generally responsible for learning and applying one or more of the following: Collaborate with other interns from different departments for the client-based project Develop a communications strategy with other interns for the client-based project Opportunity to meet with various media vendors to learn market trends and landscape Conduct market research and prepare various reports/presentations Understand the holistic marketing and advertising landscape Learning how to effectively communicate with a target audience Assist in any larger campaign projects or administrative tasks to help the Media team Skills and Qualifications Curious and avid learner with a passion for business, advertising and/or marketing Interest and passion for learning and practicing professional communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, and presentation skills Interest in learning and/or have knowledge on consumer journey, market trends, and marketing communications Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills Team player, quick learner, organized, dependable and detail-oriented Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with employees at all levels of our organization Ability to work independently to execute tasks in a fast-paced work environment Bilingual skills in Chinese, Vietnamese and/or Korean are a plus, but not required Requirements Skills Communication Advertising Characteristics Type of Contract Intern Salary Between US$16.00 and US$17.00 an hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
