Glowbar is seeking an Email and SMS Marketing Specialist to own execution for the brand's email and SMS channels. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, this role will be an integral part of the marketing team, responsible for driving revenue via appointments and increasing LTV from members. In addition to segmentation, automation, and reporting, this team member also has a strong perspective on email creative and is able to craft their own campaigns in Canva or a similar platform. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is scrappy and resourceful, and has strong creative sensibilities.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Lead Email and SMS Marketing Execution: Execute against Glowbar's Email and SMS strategy by implementing high-impact initiatives across the client lifecycle that drive bookings and improve member retention.
Support SMS Launch: Partner with Glowbar's Sr. Director of Marketing to launch SMS via campaigns and automation, unlocking a new channel to drive bookings and member retention.
Own Email and SMS Calendar: Partner with the rest of the marketing team and other cross-functional departments to build a thoughtful calendar across email and SMS (inclusive of promotions) that helps us hit business goals.
Drive Email Creative: Copy: Craft concise and compelling copy in Glowbar's brand voice to support business goals. Design: You have solid design sensibilities, a strong POV on effective email creative, and know how to whip up a visual in Klaviyo, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or a similar platform.
Build Audience Segmentation: You have experience with segmentation and will build segments to support campaign and automation strategy in partnership with Glowbar's Sr. Director of Marketing.
Maintain and Optimize Automation: Email automation is the backbone of Glowbar's marketing program. You will own maintenance of our existing automation, share ideas for optimization, and action against testing plans.
Own Reporting and Testing: Analyze email performance metrics to continuously improve campaign effectiveness across email and SMS. Conduct A/B tests and regularly share out learnings to improve email and SMS performance and drive bookings.
Troubleshoot Integration Challenges: Partner with the Sr. Director of Marketing to troubleshoot integration challenges with Klaviyo and problem-solve when challenges arise.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in email marketing for D2C businesses, preferably a retail services business Experience working in Klaviyo Proven track record of executing successful email and SMS programs in a D2C environment Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization strategies Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data and translate them into revenue-driving initiatives Working knowledge of email design best practices Familiarity with Canva, Illustrator, or another design tool Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment You are an inquisitive problem solver by nature Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Bonus points if you have experience working with Boulevard and a passion for skincare! Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
