office is seeking a 2025 Marketing Intern interested in developing their skills among our team of staff while supporting attorneys' business development efforts. This Marketing internship opportunity is part-time and is based on-site in our downtown Chicago office. The Marketing internship begins in January 2025 and continues through August 2025 with a possibility of extending further. The rate of $16.20 - $16.50/hr is commensurate with experience.
Writing, Events and Social Media
(entry level)
Qualifications:
Very strong writing skills, attention to detail, organization and event coordination needed to successfully perform in this very fast paced, yet friendly and exciting environment. A college junior or senior majoring in Marketing or related field.
Abilities : Ability to work 14-21 hours per week. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities: • Distribute, from a shared mailbox, routine email templates to attorneys; e.g.:
Biographies and court success posts End of month Marketing message New photography message to coordinate attorney photography Routine, scheduled emails to attorneys and to the Firm • Review website posts and links
Attorney biographies and case summaries Check hyperlink integrity on external and internal posts Review and update Firm's Careers page weekly Review "encore editions" prior to requesting attorneys for permission to repost their court success posts • Sponsorship and event preparation (per production calendar)
Print related brochures, package and pack Package swag, banners, and related materials Print shipping and return labels per production company requirements After conference, restock returned swag Update and prepare "digital business cards" for attorneys attending conferences • Draft social media pages for sponsorship events, job fairs, court wins, new hires • Review content and event-related web posts and resolve broken links • Update and distribute LinkedIn end of month Marketing message • Update Annual Marketing Report (from template) with current Marketing data activity (LinkedIn and Firm URL) • Work with DEI for research on celebration dates; schedule/distribute of emails • Draft monthly "Welcome" messages and post to LinkedIn • Update LinkedIn banners for new partners; distribute to attorneys their post LinkedIn banners for social media • Other marketing-related activities may be assigned
