Are you imaginative in selecting furnishings and fabrics, in creating spaces that serve the client’s needs and fit the client’s lifestyle? Detailed Oriented? Are you precise in measuring interior spaces and making drawings so that furniture and furnishings will fit correctly and create an appropriate environment? Visual? Do you have a strong sense of proportion and visual awareness to understand how pieces of a design will fit together to create the intended interior environment? Do you have: Interpersonal Skills? Are you able to communicate effectively with clients and others such as suppliers, drafters, general contractors, subcontractors, and of course, your teammates? Problem-Solving Skills? Are you able to address challenges, such as spiraling costs or sudden unavailability of selected materials, while keeping the project on time and within budget? Multitasking Skills. The ability to excel at managing multiple projects at one time is a must. A genuine passion for kitchen, bath, and interior design? A clean and neat appearance while understanding the importance of maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with clients, architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project neighbors. Software? Proficient in AutoCad, SketchUp, Illustrator, Chief Architect, or other design programs Education? BS Degree in Interior Design or similar Signing Bonus!
