Job Description:

Technical Writer, plays a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving documentation for our innovative gateway antennas and VSAT technology. Work will be essential in producing concise manuals, user guides, installation instructions, and technical documentation that support engineers, integrators, field service teams, and end-users. This position will allow to engage with complex telecommunications systems, translating intricate technical information into accessible content.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, organize, and maintain technical documents for gateway antenna systems, including installation guides, operation manuals, troubleshooting guides, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborating closely with RF engineers, system engineers, product managers, and project teams will ensure technical accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
• Interpret engineering data, schematics, and technical specifications while conducting usability testing and gathering feedback from stakeholders to improve documentation quality and accessibility.
• Maintaining documentation versions to ensure updates reflect product and design changes.
• Creating and standardizing templates and style guides for documents.
• Producing visual aids, such as diagrams and charts, to enhance document understanding.
• Coordinating with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure that documents meet homologation standards and regulatory requirements in multiple international markets.

Skills and experiences:

• A bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. We have a strong preference for candidates from engineering backgrounds.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, ideally within the aerospace, telecommunications, satellite communications, or RF engineering industries.
• Experience within defense, military government vertical required.
• Strong ability to interpret and simplify technical data, schematics, and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Madcap Flare, Microsoft Office, and Visio; experience with CAD software is a bonus.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Knowledge of homologation requirements for antenna products is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience creating visual aids like schematics or flowcharts that enhance technical documents.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations applicable to communication and antenna systems.
