The Opportunity

  • Within Aeroflow, the Employee Experience & Engagement team is dedicated to creating a workplace where employees feel seen, heard, and valued. This team is comprised of the Employee Experience & Engagement Manager and the Internal Communication Specialist.

From employee recognition programs to engagement campaigns and impactful communications, this team ensures that Aeroflow employees feel supported, celebrated, and connected to the company's mission.
  • Our primary customers are Aeroflow employees, team leaders, and executive leadership. We support these groups by delivering thoughtful engagement initiatives, employee recognition opportunities, and clear, timely messaging for key company updates and organizational change.

Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an internal communications specialist. Internal Communications Specialist is typically responsible for
  • Develop and Execute Communications Strategies: Translate Aeroflow's strategic goals into communication plans that enhance employee understanding, engagement, and alignment with the company's mission.
  • Support Division-Level Strategy: Work closely with division leaders to ensure clear, consistent communication of strategies to business unit (BU) levels, fostering alignment and understanding from the top down.
  • Support Leadership Messaging: Collaborate with executives and department heads to craft clear, inspiring messages tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Change Management Communications: Develop thoughtful communication strategies for important organizational changes or emergencies. Provide counsel and planning for handling crisis communications as needed.
  • Enhance Internal Communication Channels: Oversee the intranet, email updates, and other digital platforms to ensure consistent and engaging messaging. This includes overseeing the internal communications news site and creating compelling, helpful stories and content to share with our internal community.
  • Promote Employee Engagement Programs: Partner with the Engagement Team to drive participation in recognition programs, company events, and team-building initiatives.
  • Monitor and Measure Impact: Use analytics and employee feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Actively solicit employee feedback and inputs to assess the effectiveness of the communications approach.
  • Brand and Culture Alignment: Ensure all messaging reflects Aeroflow's culture, values, and brand identity.
Skills for Success
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats (email, presentations, newsletters).
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of corporate strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting, editing, and distributing communications intended for mass distribution.
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other communication tools (e.g., intranet platforms, email marketing platforms, Google Sites).
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Ability to thrive, adapt, and work in a fast-paced, multi-site, and fluid environment.
  • Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
  • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
  • Other job duties assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in internal communications or a similar corporate role.
  • Proven ability to translate complex strategies into clear, engaging messages.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and managing companywide campaigns for a large, geographically dispersed, and diverse workforce.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and managing companywide campaigns, including crisis and sensitive communications.
  • Previous experience in a company with remote employees and multi-sites is a plus.
