Audio Visual Installation Technician Job at Immersive Concepts LLC in Beltsville

Immersive Concepts is seeking a qualified AV Installation Technician to assist an IT program that is mission-critical to support one of our Federal customers in the National Capital Region. This position may also require travel throughout the Continental United States.

Clearance: Secret Preferred
Education: Associate of Science Degree in Information/Communications Technology

Audio Visual Installation Technician Responsibilities:

Audio Visual Installation Technician’s responsibilities are to install and configure wide range of AV equipment, build and wire AV equipment racks, train assistant techs, train clients on systems. Execution of wire pulling, device rigging, cable termination and testing, system testing and commissioning, display and adjustment, system documentation, system troubleshooting, control system integration. Maintain equipment service protocol to include regular manufacturer's recommended maintenance of equipment, and follow a risk-based service plan that provides preventive maintenance or periodic replacement. Maintain knowledge of new and emerging AV industry products and functions. Preferred experience: Associates degree or two years relevant experience CTS, Certified in AMX and Creston equipment, Network, Tandberg Video Conferencing, Polycom Video Conferencing. Minimum Experience: - Associates Degree or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree. PMP certification.
