The Multimedia Intern is responsible for capturing, cataloging, and editing photos/videos of camp highlights used for weekly parent updates, end-of-summer slideshow, and other marketing campaigns.

Requirements:
- Experience: We are looking for experience working with children. Previous experience working with children in a camp setting is preferred.
- Strong video and photography experience required (photo and video editing software experience preferred)
- Experience uploading, cataloging, and tagging photos and videos in Dropbox preferred.
- Education: Undergraduate student or recent graduate with a course background in photography, videography, and multimedia communications.
- Portfolio: All candidates must submit photography and video samples during the interview process
- Capable & Productive: Highly developed time management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Hours: Typically, from 8:30 am to 3:40 pm, Monday to Friday. Start and end times may vary depending on the location and camp.
- Schedule Commitment: Any schedule changes or time off must be pre-approved by the site director.
- Required Training: Complete all required ESF and state-mandated training and onboarding.
- Dress Code: Maintain the "ESF Look" (camp uniform) and embody the spirit of the camp.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Dive into the Camp Day! Master the site-level calendar of events and map out a weekly schedule in advance, knowing where to be and when to capture events.
- Photography & Video, including editing & cataloging:
- Capturing and editing high-quality photos and videos of all camp highlights (guidance provided to identify opportunities)
- Taking video clips of a “day in the life” camper activities and special events.
- Photo and video editing for each project
- Cataloging photos & videos. (Capture high-quality photos and video clips to fill a slide show of 20-25 minutes in duration)
- Be the Ultimate Role Model: Supervise campers, while fostering a positive, welcoming, and safe environment.

- Model the ESF Virtues of Character (Gratitude, Respect, Trustworthiness, Effort, Kindness, Positivity, Resilience, Community) in camp daily.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Communication: Maintain clear, concise, and engaging communication with campers, families, peers, and our leadership team.
- Participate in weekly team calls with fellow interns and the Marketing team to discuss best practices and opportunities for improvements.
- Inform the site director of any concerns regarding camp health, safety, and security.
Reporting Relationships:
- The Multimedia Intern reports directly to the Site Director on-site and the Marketing department at ESF Headquarters
Additional Responsibilities:
- Push/pull, lift, and carry a minimum of thirty-five (35) pounds across campus. Work outside, upright, and mobile for six (6) to eight (8) hours per day
- Respond to emergencies, including running (up to 1 mile in some cases) and ascending stairs without undue exertion.
