Summary:
The Social Media Manager is to oversee the social strategy for Communities Foundation of Texas and lead the social content strategy and execution for 10+ social media accounts. This includes maintaining social media calendars, creating content, analyzing performance, and collaborating with other teams to achieve marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in social media marketing, including paid media campaigns, and a deep understanding of social media analytics. This position is based in Dallas, Texas. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas area to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Strategy
- Develop social media content strategy and maintain editorial calendar.
- Define and execute paid media to support our social objectives.
- Build creative briefs for creative content, as needed.
- Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams and Communications and External Affairs team to regularly optimize and refine social strategy and content.
- Provide ongoing counsel on social best practices and tactics that align with brand objectives/goals and overall business.
Social Implementation
- Own the scheduling, posting, and copywriting for all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
- Develop and execute all Google Analytics organic link tags for all organic social channels.
- Monitor customer engagement and identify new ways to activate participation and feedback.
- Define appropriate KPIs and measure the impact of all content and paid media campaigns.
- Partner with Communications and External Affairs team on influencer reporting.
- Leverage insights and learnings for campaign optimization.
- Define influencer and partnerships briefs.
- Approve all influencer and partnership content.
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 or more years successful experience in social media marketing.
- Social media experience, including social best practices, trends, platform functionality, and community management
- Strong organizational skills and social/digital-first thinking
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Sprout Social with the ability to optimize based on findings
- Experience creating social content with in-app editing abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity executing paid social media campaigns (Meta and LinkedIn)
- Attention to detail and accuracy is extremely important.
