ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and write comprehensive FF&E specifications for hospitality projects.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project teams to source and select materials and furnishings. Ensure all specifications meet quality, budget, and time-line requirements. Maintain documentation accuracy and oversee FF&E processes from concept to installation. Teach and mentor the design team to improve their skills in writing and managing FF&E specifications. COMPUTER SOFTWARE SKILLS: Preferred experience in the use of: SpecSources Revit
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Four or two-year degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited college or university. Minimum 4 years professional experience within the Interior Design / Architectural field. Proven experience in hospitality-focused FF&E specification development. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in industry-standard tools/software for specification writing. Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
