We aim to provide tools, resources, and guidance to help individuals and businesses thrive in their personal and professional endeavors. By leveraging a blend of strategic mentorship and skills development, we work toward creating opportunities for growth and success. We are currently seeking a Grant Writer and Fundraiser to help us secure funding and drive our organizational growth and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Grant Writing: Research and identify grant opportunities from government agencies, private foundations, and other relevant organizations. Write clear, compelling, and well-researched grant proposals that align with Pathways Mentorship's mission and services. Collaborate with the team to gather information and ensure proposals reflect organizational goals, needs, and impact. Submit grant applications on time, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and documentation requirements. Track and report on the status of submitted grants and follow up as needed. Maintain a calendar of upcoming grant opportunities and deadlines. Prepare and submit progress reports to funders to ensure compliance with reporting obligations. Fundraising: Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising campaigns and events aimed at generating financial support. Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and other stakeholders. Develop fundraising strategies that meet both annual and project-specific financial targets. Create fundraising materials such as donor appeals, event programs, and marketing collateral. Track and report on fundraising efforts, providing updates to leadership and stakeholders. Work closely with the marketing and communications team to promote fundraising initiatives across social media, emails, and other platforms. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing and/or fundraising, ideally in a for-profit or nonprofit setting. Proven success in securing funding through grants and fundraising campaigns. Strong written communication skills with the ability to create persuasive and impactful proposals and materials. Experience in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns. Familiarity with a range of funding opportunities, from grants to corporate sponsorships. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong atten ion to detail, accuracy, and an ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of budgeting and financial management related to grants and fundraising efforts (preferred). Passion for business empowerment and professional development.
