Position Overview: The Macon Mayhem are seeking Camera Operators for the 2024-2025 season. You will capture gameplay, live fan shots, and fan engagement elements during games. We are looking for strong and independent workers that can handle a wide variety of tasks.

October 2024 - April 2025
Attendance at all Mayhem Home Games (Office Hours Available)
Can be used for Course Credit
Camera Operators are paid per game

Responsibilities:
- Assist in game day production setup/ breakdown
- Knowledge of technical directing, camera operations and/or other production equipment
- Understand the basics of camera operations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment
- Gain hands-on experience in sports operations and event management.
- Develop skills in crowd management, customer service, and entertainment production.
- Understand the logistical aspects of game day preparation and execution.
- Enhance your organizational and task management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required; ability to successfully communicate with all levels of staff and the public
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
- Must be able to work flexible/varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
- Must be available for all home games from October 2024 through May 2025
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Macon Coliseum
- Pursuit of Sport Management, Marketing, Communication, and/or Business degree preferred, but not required
- Previous camera experience preferred.
