Job Title: Graphic Designer II - Multimedia Designer
Location: Olathe, KS or Moline, IL

Schedule: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT Monday – Friday (there is a little flexibility on start time - they could start earlier at 7 a.m. or later at 9 a.m. but would need to be consistent start time)

Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or Advertising

Years of Experience Required:  At least 2 years of working experience in related field

Job Description:

  • Collaborates closely with creative and content leads as well as copywriters to develop marketing-leading digital, video, and print advertising to support marketing objectives.
  • With minimal supervision, designs literature and advertising in accordance with corporate brand guidelines and templates, including image selects, video storyboards, layouts, mockups, and final files.
  • Maintains current product listings across several platforms—print, web, media, internal sources and global specifics where required.
  • Creates web layouts using Figma.
  • Working knowledge of photography and videography workflow, including developing mood boards and storyboards.
  • Ensures work product meets approved company brand standards and guidelines. Modifies work product if corrections are needed.
  • Completes work on time and with attention to detail.

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, and Bridge), Figma, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud email marketing tool.
  • Solid communication skills and expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint. You will need to present your design ideas and how they meet our strategic challenges.
  • Speak the language of the various applications of design, including digital advertising, marketing, photography, illustration, and video production.
  • Project management and remaining focused on deadlines is critical in this fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design producing a wide range of advertising and marketing projects demonstrated through your online portfolio.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Acrobat, and Bridge), Figma, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud email marketing tool.
  • Speak the language of the various applications of design including digital advertising, marketing, photography, illustration, and video production.
  • Solid communication skills and expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint. You’ll need to present your design ideas and how they meet their strategic challenges.
  • Project management. You’ll need to actively manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously and be accountable for meeting an 80% on time metric for assigned work. We use sophisticated project management software, but there’s no substitute for personal responsibility.
  • Be a quick learner. Get up to speed quickly on various software tools for online project management, team communication, etc.
  • Be a team player and work well with others. A positive attitude and contributing to team success is a must!
