Our client, a creative branding agency headquartered in Long Beach, California – is seeking a Paid Media Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on paid media campaigns across digital platforms while collaborating with internal teams and external media partners.

Role Overview:

The Paid Media Specialist develops and executes media plans to effectively reach target audiences across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement data-driven media plans matching client KPIs and budgets.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns, deriving insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify new and existing ways to enhance campaigns through media and creative.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating rates to maximize effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and execute campaigns across paid social, search, display, email marketing, OTT/CTV, streaming audio, and other digital tactics.
  • Optimize programmatic campaigns with hands-on-keys bidding strategies, creative updates, and targeting refinements.
  • Review, approve, and provide feedback on media plans, client recommendations, and campaign reports; participate in client meetings.
  • Manage media invoices, client billing, and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies, timelines, and assets for campaigns.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations specific to our clients’ industry to enhance offerings and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital media planning/buying.
  • Expertise in digital platforms and metrics; experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Lives within commuting distance to Long Beach, CA to work onsite five days a week.
  • Exceptional diligence, time management, and critical thinking skills.

Certifications (Preferred, but not required):

  • Google Ads Certification
  • Meta Ads Certification(s)
  • Google Analytics Certification
