Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and troubleshoot broadcast equipment, including transmitters, studio equipment, and digital audio systems.
  2. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize system performance.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  4. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  5. Assist with the installation and configuration of new equipment.
  6. Collaborate with on-air talent and production staff to ensure seamless broadcasts.
  7. Adhere to FCC regulations and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong technical knowledge of radio broadcasting equipment and systems.
  2. Proficiency in audio engineering and signal processing techniques.
  3. Experience with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and audio editing software.
  4. Valid driver’s license.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  8. Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator License (preferred).
