Role: UI Developer

We are looking to hire a Front End React developer with 5+ years of work experience with hands-on development. The developer will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and mission-driven project, providing them an opportunity to further learn and enhance their skills while feeling proud of the social mission they support.

Required Skills:

  1. In-depth experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, business logic layer, data access layer) as well as experience in distributed architectures using integration hubs such as Data Power, Mule, or any ESBs.
  2. Experience with TypeScript or ECMAScript (ES6 or latest).
  3. Strong skills in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap or similar, JavaScript, React, Redux.
  4. Experience in integrating APIs with the respective screens.
  5. Experience in developing Higher Order Components (HOC) and working with custom frameworks or libraries.
  6. Debugging and resolving production issues with strong debugging skills.
  7. Experience in writing unit test cases with Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.
  8. Experience in developing applications with ADA compliance.
  9. Ability to quickly learn new concepts and/or technology.
  10. Must have done hands-on development in recent projects.
  11. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to smoothly interact with development team leadership and clients.
  12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  13. Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in code review.
  2. Mentor junior staff and lead technical designs.
  3. Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
  4. Project experience in working with Agile processes.
  5. Knowledge of SDLC processes and use of application lifecycle management tools such as JIRA, JAMA, etc.
  6. Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand the requirements that will form the core foundation for all future products.
  7. Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
