Position Summary

The public address announcer position is non-benefited and is responsible for announcing athletic events and contracted sponsorship obligations.

Essential Functions

1. Announce in-contest occurrences (i.e. substitutions, goals, penalties)
2. Announce sponsored elements in accordance with contractual obligations
3. Serve as a master of ceremonies for assigned events

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
2. Ability to speak loudly, clearly, and fluently

Required Qualifications

1. Must be 21 years of age
2. Possibility of working both indoors and outdoors depending on the event
3. Noise level can be high at times

Work Schedule

Part-time, hours will vary. Evenings and weekends during Varsity sports seasons are needed.

Hourly Range

The hourly range for this position is $19.00- $25.00.
