Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

As an Art Director at Tegan, you’ll take the lead in shaping the visual identities and digital experiences that define our clients’ brands. You’re more than just a designer—you’re a visionary storyteller who understands the transformative power of strategic branding. From building brands from the ground up to crafting compelling UI systems, your creativity and leadership will make our clients stand out in meaningful ways. This is your opportunity to drive impact and leave a lasting mark on the brands you bring to life.

Creating Impactful Design:

• Lead branding and UI projects that move the needle for our clients
• Develop brand identities and UI systems rooted in strategy and purpose
• Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends and tools in brand and UI design

Building Strong Relationships:

• Work closely with clients, building trust and understanding to deliver meaningful design solutions
• Collaborate with our team of designers, writers, developers, and account managers to push creative boundaries

Owning Your Expertise:

• Present your work with confidence, backed by a deep understanding of the strategic and creative process
• Lead client meetings, driving the visual direction of projects with authority and clarity

Being a Team Player:

• Engage in constructive feedback loops with clients and teammates, ensuring the work is always moving forward
• Contribute to the evolution of Tegan’s culture, processes, and client experiences, helping us grow and thrive as a team

What We’re Looking For:

• A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create comprehensive brand identity systems and dynamic UI designs for a variety of clients
• A keen sense of curiosity about our clients’ industries and objectives, and the ability to translate that understanding into visually compelling designs
• The confidence to lead client conversations and be the guide on visual strategy
• A proactive mindset, ready to tackle challenges head-on and offer creative solutions
• A collaborative spirit, eager to work with a diverse team of strategists, writers, and fellow designers

Tools You’ll Master:

• Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Figma

Job Qualifications

This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment. Must be located in the DFW area.
