To provide quality group and individual treatment to psychiatric patients. To serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team supporting the organization’s treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of high-quality treatment to psychiatric patients.
Pay Range: $27/hr. to $35/hr.

- Conducting Adjunctive Therapy assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment by interviewing the patient.
- Providing individual and group treatment using various treatment modalities from their discipline and training background.
- Attending treatment team meetings to provide adjunctive therapy (expressive, recreational, and life skills) perspective.
- Reporting to community/state agencies any patient issues required.
- Demonstrating conduct in keeping with Aurora ethical standards.
- Complying with facility safety, infection control, and security program.
- Participating in activities internal and external customer service standards.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g. recreation therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, or related equivalent discipline).
- Master’s Degree in relevant field (e.g. art therapy, dance/movement therapy, drama therapy).
- Certification preferred.
- Mental health experience preferred.
- Knowledge of acute psychological disorders; advanced principles of abnormal psychology.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification for Healthcare Providers following the American Heart Association guidelines.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degrees in relevant fields.
- Certification preferred.
- Mental health experience preferred.
- Knowledge of acute psychological disorders; advanced principles of abnormal psychology.
