We are currently seeking a Research Manager - Audience Analytics (SVOD) to join our research team based in our New York, New York headquarters.
JOB SUMMARY
The Audience Analytics manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an audience-based view of performance across the streaming portfolio. This role will entail (1) identifying key audience segments, (2) monitoring behavior for those groups, and (3) providing cohort-specific recommendations that improve acquisition, engagement, and retention for AMCN’s streaming services.
The individual in this role will have a passion for analytics and be a strategic thinker who enjoys structured problem-solving. He or she will be able to develop actionable insights from large datasets, communicate results and recommendations effectively, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the audience segments that have the largest impact on AMCN’s streaming business
- Design reporting frameworks for monitoring behavior of key segments
- Track audience behavior with ongoing reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and deliver recommendations to improve acquisition, engagement, and/or retention for specific audiences
- Partner with BI to identify opportunities or gaps in audience reporting
- Support stakeholders with special projects and/or ad hoc analyses related to audience analytics
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience with at least 4+ years' experience in direct-to-consumer streaming/digital media business
- Expertise with data modeling, including working with various data tools and collaborating with Business Intelligence team
- Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex data and insights to executives
- Creative thinker who enjoys tackling open-ended problems
- Ability to multitask and work independently
The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 commensurate with experience.
