Audio Visual Senior Programmer Job at Creative Office Environments in Ashland

A challenging opportunity exists for a seasoned Audiovisual Senior Programmer. This position is hands-on and will require both management and technical skills. Creative Technology Group (CTG), a division of Creative Office Environments, provides collaborative communication technology solutions to higher education, healthcare, corporate, and government. Primary Responsibilities:

1. Successfully managing the CTG programmer staff with emphasis on motivating, engagement, and mentoring others.
2. Setting and achieving quality standards for programs.
3. Problem solve, troubleshoot and provide solutions for customer needs under high-pressure circumstances.
4. Manage vendor outsourcing to meet programming and engineering needs, ensuring vendors are meeting quality standards.
5. Compile and complete monthly and quarterly metrics and reports and business case analysis.
6. Perform tasks including cost estimating, audits, field installation oversight, and post-installation follow-up.

Qualifications:

1. Possess strong technical AV background with an extensive background in software programming, exhibit strong computer and communication skills, and have strong interpersonal skills.
2. Supervisory/management experience required.
3. Minimum of a high school education required; college preferred.
4. 8-12 years of work experience and working knowledge of audio-visual systems.

Required Skills:

1. Demonstrated success in the planning, implementation, and execution of large programming projects.
2. CTS (Certified Technical Specialist), or equivalent documented industry experience and skills required.
3. AMX and Crestron programming expert experience.
4. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
5. Proven ability to focus meticulously on details.
6. Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
7. Team player.
