EOS IT Solutions is hiring: Lead Audio Visual Field Technician in New York

THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRE UP TO 70% TRAVEL.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead the Installation and de-installation of AV/Telepresence products
• Lead a team of AV Technicians on Installation Projects
• Configuration of endpoints and infrastructure
• Preparation of room audits ensuring technology can work at optimum level
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and room is ready for use
• Identify defective/failed equipment and provide solutions
• Complete Post Installation Assessments
• Perform on-site User Acceptance testing
• Install software upgrades
• Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide solutions for ongoing faults
• Provide AV solutions and services on-site interfacing with the designated client in line with customer requirements and service level agreement
• Communicate with management team throughout the day, as it relates to assignments
• Project reporting and updating
• Document and report hardware failures; manage Break/Fix and RMA requests as needed
• Supervise, instruct and assist with rack building processes
• Travel to customer sites nationally as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Experience leading teams of AV Technicians or Engineers
• Experience terminating, configuring, and programming at least one of the following types of equipment: Extron, Cisco, Crestron, and/or AMX
• Ability to read and understand plans to ensure everything is done correctly and perform any additional configuration required
• Experience working on AV/VC integrations
• Agility and a strong sense of urgency
• Excellent customer interaction and a high level of professionalism
• Curiosity and determination in solving technical problems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under pressure
• Engagement in the process of technical development
• Willingness and ability to work and travel globally when required
• Responsible and reliable, capable of working alone as well as part of a team
• Good organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Flexibility and adaptability to change and hours of work, to meet customer needs
• Motivated team player

• Control (Crestron, AMX, Extron)
• Audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM)
• Video (Cisco, Polycom)
