Technical Project Lead - Audio Neural Networks

Position: SBIR Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) - Neural Networks & Audio Processing

Location: Columbus, Ohio area preferred

About Us:

We are seeking a qualified Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) for an SBIR-funded research project in the Columbus, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in neural networks, audio processing, and a passion for innovation. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, contribute meaningful insights, and drive technical progress in a collaborative environment. This will be a contract-to-hire role, with flexible weekly hours as the project workload determines.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Co-PI for SBIR-funded projects, contributing to technical research and development.
• Apply neural network algorithms to audio processing tasks, including data analysis, feature extraction, and model training.
• Independently manage project tasks, ensuring timely completion and reporting to the primary investigator.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio processing solutions with advanced hardware and software systems.

Requirements:

Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven experience with neural networks and machine learning models.
• Proficiency in audio processing techniques, including signal analysis and feature engineering.

Location: Reside in Ohio, with preference for candidates in the Columbus area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in the hearing or audio industry.
• Experience with hardware integration and development.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
