Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Junior SDS Author for our Florham Park team.

This detail-oriented individual will be responsible for creating comprehensive documents that provide detailed information about the hazards, safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals.

This position reports to a Regional EHS Director. This role offers a hybrid work model and is based at a client site in Rahway, NJ.

Responsibilities:

1. Classifies, authors, & distributes SDS (Safety Data Sheets).
2. Obtains and maintains regulatory and compositional information from raw material suppliers, contract blenders and the business.
3. Responsible for System (GHS) classification and labeling information on materials.
4. Enters and maintains hazard assessment and regulatory data into product compliance support and SDS authoring systems.
5. Assists with reviewing and updating vendor MSDS/ SDS and hazard chemical lists. Ensure updated or obsolete MSDS/ SDS are filed properly.
6. Assists with customer requests for MSDS/ SDS.
7. Assists with performing process checks to ensure MSDS/ SDS are being filed properly and on-time.

Basic Requirements:

1. Familiar with GHS (Globally Harmonized System) as well as OSHA Hazard Communication regulations.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Safety/Environmental, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent experience.
3. Interact with colleagues within TOX, ECOTOX and DG.
4. Organized.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. A highly reliable, team player.
7. Possesses excellent EXCEL skills.
8. Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
9. Must have a reliable form of transportation.

Preferred Requirements:

1. Foreign Language degree or experience a plus.
2. 1 year’s experience in Safety/Environmental, Chemicals or MSDS(s).
3. Experience with SAP highly desirable.
