Job Overview

The Content Director is both a leader and a hands-on contributor—a player/coach who will oversee the content production team while actively participating in the creation and refinement of content. This role requires a blend of creative expertise, editorial precision, and leadership skills to manage and inspire a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage a team of content creators, including writers, designers, and media specialists, to produce high-quality content aligned with business goals.
  2. Actively participate in content creation, including drafting, editing, and refining materials to ensure excellence and consistency.
  3. Develop and oversee content strategies that drive engagement and meet target audience needs.
  4. Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to team members, fostering growth and professional development.
  5. Troubleshoot challenges in content production and collaborate with the team to find innovative solutions.
  6. Manage content calendars, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Continuously seek ways to improve processes, workflows, and the quality of deliverables.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep content strategies cutting-edge.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in content creation and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work.
  2. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team while contributing directly to content production.
  3. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
