About the role

The role exists to consult on all aspects of Global data design, fabrication maintenance, and product development efforts for Agency and Case Law content.

Responsibilities:

  • Led tracking and supporting all builds, maintenance, and projects.
  • Coordinate with Product Manager to set work priorities.
  • Analyze, research, and resolve customer problems reported by Sales, Customer Support, and Product.
  • Manage Agency content workflow from collection to online. Troubleshoot workflow problems to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with other teams that work on Secondary Agency sources. Be aware of the synergy between Primary and Secondary Agency content.
  • Provide issue tracking information for all status meetings such as the weekly Agency and Case Law/Shepard's Weekly Initiatives Meetings.
  • Monitor broken auto-collections. Assist in identifying resolutions to restore auto-collections.
  • Correspond with state and federal agencies to establish contacts and obtain missing documents when requested by Collection Specialist.
  • Examine collection sites for new Agency builds. Size keying cost for new Agency builds.
  • Write Product Requirements for new Agency builds. Hand off requirements to REPH for build completion. Monitor the build schedule to ensure timely releases of new content.
  • Review and approve Collection Instructions and Keying Instructions written by REPH.
  • Provide guidance to REPH on build steps as needed.
  • Process keying vendor invoices.
  • Perform checkouts for migrations such as Search Replatform (SRP) and HCCS.

Requirements:

  • Be a natural problem solver, able to collaborate with your team to resolve issues.
  • Have substantial operations workflow experience. Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, able to think analytically.
  • Have excellent written English, including the capacity to write within strict constraints of house style.
  • Proven experience in all phases of fabrication and/or product development/maintenance/source or metadata/database infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in all job functions such as Product Manager, Content Specialist, Content Analyst, or Update Editor.
  • Experience in XML and VISF data Fabrication.
  • Experience in News, Business and Topical Content Fabrication.
  • Have a J.D. or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • May be required to work on-call and/or to work different shift hours to accommodate varying time zones.
