This role is hybrid in Los Angeles, CA.

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Creative Strategist to join our high-performing team at our client. As a Senior Creative Strategist, you will be at the forefront of crafting compelling, data-driven creative strategies for paid social advertising. You will work within a pod structure, reporting to a Strategy Lead and collaborating closely with fellow strategists, editors, and more to deliver best-in-class ads for your clients. You will have direct ownership of 1-2 accounts, with the opportunity to design and execute creative strategies that deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain weekly strategic plans for 1-2 client accounts
  • Present strategic recommendations and creative concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and expansion
  • Formulate effective creative strategies using data analysis, research, and creative insights
  • Analyze performance data from platforms like Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager to inform strategy
  • Conduct in-depth consumer, product, and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Translate strategic insights into actionable creative briefs and concepts
  • Write engaging scripts and copy for video and static image ads
  • Collaborate with Post-Production and Production teams to ensure visual elements align with creative strategy
  • Provide constructive feedback to creative teams, ensuring adherence to strategic objectives
  • Implement feedback from your Strategy Lead to refine and improve creative output
  • Conduct regular analysis of creative test results
  • Use data-driven insights to iterate and optimize creative strategies
  • Identify top-performing concepts within accounts and across the social media landscape
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in social media advertising
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the creative strategy department
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to elevate our agency's creative output
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless campaign execution

Candidate requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing
  • Proven track record in paid social or direct response advertising, with a portfolio of successful ads and ad strategies (work samples required)
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and ad copy that drives conversions
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting data and deriving actionable insights
  • Excellent project management abilities, including the capacity to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
  • Advanced understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and other relevant ad platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and basic design tools
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry landscape

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience managing junior team members or leading small teams
The salary range is $90,000 - $120,000
