Job Title: Sr. Manager, Creative Design and Operations

Compensation: $135,000.00 - $163,000.00 Annual Salary

The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. About the Role:

The Creative Design and Operations Senior Manager is responsible for creative strategy on brand initiatives, as well as managing in-house designers, agencies and freelancers. Part of the role is creative operations, including but not limited to ensuring a balanced workflow for the team and executing on creative briefs. This role oversees photoshoot and videoshoot production for content across all platforms, leads multi-media content creation, design for CRM and other digital initiatives, and develops creative strategies rooted in storytelling. Performance, creative experience and mindset are important for the role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Leadership:
  2. Lead the creative team in translating the brand guidelines into compelling visual narratives across all channels, including video, digital, print, in-restaurant experiences, and more
  3. Lead creative digital media strategy and implementation that focuses on driving channel performance and engagement, including testing creative
  4. Conduct regular reviews of design work, providing feedback and guidance to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to brand guidelines
  1. Strategy & Implementation:
  2. Craft creative strategies and storytelling to incorporate into graphic design and videos, as well as blend multimedia for in-store, social, and DOOH creative
  3. Ideate and execute original creative concepts from start to finish for multiple brand and restaurant campaigns, including but not limited to visual research, strategic concepting, mood board creation
  4. Lead photoshoot and videoshoot production, starting with pre-production preparation, on-set production with photographers and/or cinematographers, through post-production
  1. Creative Operations & Collaboration:
  2. Manage the end-to-end creative process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  3. Implement and optimize workflows, processes, and tools to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the creative team
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Supply Chain, Operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution of creative initiatives
  1. Team Development & Management:
  2. Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of freelancers, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to complete projects
  3. Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their objectives

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Creative Production or related field; advanced degree and technical certifications are a plus
  2. Expertise in utilizing design and editing software, such as Adobe suite, with video editing proficiency
  3. 8 - 12 years of relevant experience
  4. At least 4 years of managerial experience, with proven experience in managing creatives and copywriters
  5. A deep understanding of modern and luxury design trends and passion for upscale dining industry
  6. Proven experience leading photo and videos shoots, as well as print + digital production
  7. Read, understand, and follow the Employee Handbook and all company policies and procedures
  8. Highly motivated and able to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  9. Positive and professional attitude
