Description:
Responsible for editing the Radiant Life Adult curriculum. Includes writing lessons, assigning writers, formatting and editing curriculum manuscripts. Initiate or create Resource Packet hand-outs, posters, case studies, etc. Create production schedules and manage workload to meet deadlines. Ensure resources comply with AG Statements of Fundamental Truths as well as official Position Papers of the General Council of the AG. Perform edits ensuring accuracy of grammar syntax, and spelling of the English language. Work closely with Spanish Editorial staff to maintain parallel scope and sequence, outlines and lesson content.
Qualifications:
College degree in English/Journalism, Bible Theology and or Christian Education. Strong grammar skills. Working knowledge of relevant commentaries and resources for needed research. Thoroughly familiar with the core doctrines, Statements of Fundamental Truths and Official Position Papers of the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Experience in instructional design, editing and teaching (church or school). PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Adobe).
