A Japanese luxury apparel & jewelry store in Waikiki, HI seeks a Store Sales Associate.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly attitude. Provide personalized fashion advice and ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
2. Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and store merchandise. Be knowledgeable about product details, pricing, and promotions.
3. Sales Goals: Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through effective customer engagement and product recommendations.
4. Merchandising: Maintain the store's visual appeal by arranging displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring a tidy and organized environment.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
6. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including stock checks, replenishment, and reporting discrepancies.
7. Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register. Ensure all sales are properly recorded and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
8. Customer Feedback: Actively seek and listen to customer feedback to improve services and meet their needs.

Requirements:

1. Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of apparel sales experience required.
2. Language Skills: Business-level fluency in Japanese (N1 level) is essential. Proficiency in English is a plus.
3. Able to commute to the store location.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A passion for fashion and trends.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
7. Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.

Preferred Skills:

1. Jewelry sales experience.
2. VMD (Visual Merchandising) experience.

Job Preference: Full-time or Part-time
Working Hours: 9am - 10pm (Shift work)
* Full-time: 8 hours shift/day
