Graphic Designer (Oklahoma or California)
- You should possess a keen eye for design and the ability to contribute to compelling visual storytelling
- 4-year degree in graphic design, art, or a related discipline
- 4-5 years of experience in graphic design or a related field
- Strong understanding of creating visual text and imagery concepts within specific layouts
- Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite on macOS: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills for logos, packaging, brochures, point-of-purchase, web, and social media
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within graphic design
Responsibilities
- This highly creative, professional, and personable individual will work closely with cross-functional internal team members to bring our brands to life
- You will work in a collaborative environment and be responsible for designing highly visible packaging, collateral, and digital assets to meet product and corporate marketing initiatives
- Translate creative briefs into visually compelling designs for both digital and print, guiding projects from inception to completion
- Engage in diverse projects and media, utilizing computer software to craft graphic designs that align with business objectives
- Conceptualize and illustrate ideas by creating aesthetically pleasing layouts of art and copy
- You embrace a blank canvas with minimal guidance, often starting with an idea
- Through brainstorming and prototyping, you can articulate your concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Generate fresh, innovative designs or expand existing visual systems to adhere to brand standards, ensuring a cohesive marketing campaign across various touchpoints: packaging, collateral, digital, and social media
- Incorporate edits into concepts and generate final layouts in multiple file formats and mediums
- Independently manage projects or collaborate with the marketing team, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and project implementation schedules
- Coordinate with external agencies, art services, web designers, marketers, printers, and colleagues as needed
- Demonstrate creativity and adaptability in executing design tasks
- Showcase a passion for typography, design hierarchy, balance, and the ability to convey compelling visual narratives
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Marketing Managers, and cross-functional teams to define the scope and direction of projects
- Understand product positioning, target audience, and brand messaging to develop brand strategies, ensuring designs fulfill the marketing needs of the product or initiative
- Interface with internal and cross-functional team members to guarantee designs accurately convey the desired brand and product message
- Present designs and proposed strategies to project stakeholders
- Effectively self-manage workload, adhere to timelines and meet deadlines while producing precise, high-quality deliverables
- Organize project files for convenient access and long-term utilization and using project management software for all projects
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 4-year degree in graphic design, art, or a related discipline
- 4-5 years of experience in graphic design or a related field
- Strong understanding of creating visual text and imagery concepts within specific layouts
- Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite on macOS: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must. After Effects, Substance or Premier Pro a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills for logos, packaging, brochures, point-of-purchase, web, and social media
- Photography experience and proficiency in photo-editing software is a plus
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within graphic design
