Graphic Designer (Signage Design) Experienced Only

Qualifications

• Strong PC skills and sign production software skills including Coreldraw/Adobe Creative Suite and architectural software (Autocad/Solidworks/Sketchup etc)
• Previous experience as a graphic designer, and fabrication-related computer operator, including an advanced level of experience using Corel/Adobe /3D applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
• Able to work well under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work
• Experience in the Signage and display industry is a must
• Willing to work overtime and weekend hours if required
• Experience: Sign manufacturing: 2-3 years (Required)
• Large Format Printing: 2-3 years (Required)
• Vinyl Mounting and Lamination: 2-3 years (Required)
• CorelDraw: 3 years (Required)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 3 years (Required)
• Language: English (Required)

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating computer-generated layouts for approval/sign-off for Signage and Display/Fixture projects involving the usage of your expertise in fabrication techniques.
• This position includes the responsibility to create accurate breakdown layouts for client approvals and floor production.
• Digital print | Vinyl and/or full-color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate.
• Creating technical layouts for fabricated displays and signage and coordinating with the team from concept to completion.
• Prioritizes each day to efficiently and cost-effectively schedule the workflow.
• Works with co-workers and customers with proofs and approval etc.
• Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the output/ production team for plotter, printing, and fabrication.
