What you’ll do:
- Develop visually engaging 3D models and graphics for Building Automation System’s user interfaces showcasing their design, operation, and integration
- Create 2D and 3D animations that illustrate the installation and functioning of HVAC components
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand technical specifications and translate complex concepts into clear and understandable visual representations
- Review project drawings, graphics specifications, and programming points lists to understand project intent
- Work with customers, engineers, programmers, and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve graphics issues
- Test and deploy graphics projects
- Assist with configuration of objects, trends, alarms and custom structured text programming
- Support construction and software conversion projects, interacting with other personnel to collectively complete the entire functional system
Who you are:
- Associate degree, or equivalent from two-year college or technical training.
- Experience in UI/UX, GUI or web design
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drawing software; knowledge of Building Automation and HVAC Controls is a plus but not required
- Excellent computer skills and strong understanding of graphic design/editing tools and web design
- Ability to work in a team environment while taking responsibility for individual tasks
- Ability to travel to and work on construction sites for commissioning/startup. Primary work location will be the office, with 20% travel
Reports to: Software Engineering Manager
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
