Job Summary

Converts sales leads into clients through a process of analyzing customers' needs, submitting job proposals for customer review, closing the sale, facilitating successful customer transition from sales to production, and ensuring referral source retention, collection of all payments, customer satisfaction via quality control process.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and improve our sales process to meet annual revenue and profitability goals for our fast-growing company.
  2. Coordinate the sales process with key stakeholders to ensure that the entire customer experience meets our service and quality objectives.
  3. Assist with and accept delegated tasks from the General Manager.
  4. Pick-up & delivery of materials, supplies, signs, etc.
  5. File & proof generation, follow-up on proofing with customers, lead generation activities which may include early morning or evening meetings.
  6. Ensure all project estimates reflect the scope of work required by the customer.
  7. Achieve sales revenue and profitability goals.
  8. Maintain accurate use of sales software.
  9. Facilitate weekly sales meetings and accurate end-of-month reporting of Sales KPIs.
  10. Ensure a seamless project handover to the assigned Project Coordinator for each job sold.
  11. Organize all sales paperwork and maintain job progress to meet management and customer expectations.
  12. Implement company-adopted customer service principles through the sales processes.
  13. Provide sales pricing guidance based on thorough knowledge of the markets we participate in.
  14. Respond immediately to all incoming calls related to sales activities and follow up promptly.
  15. Obtain all authorizations prior to work beginning and follow proper procedures for fund collection on jobs.
  16. Ensure the necessary permits can be obtained for the customer's desired level of work.
  17. Develop inside and outside referral sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  1. Preference given to persons with experience in the Sign and Graphics Industry.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; preference for those with industry understanding, creative design skills, and exceptional customer relationship abilities.
  3. Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance with a commercial use rider; must have a reliable vehicle.
  4. Minimum of three years experience in Sales or Estimator position for a comparable company size or equivalent experience.
  5. Excellent communication skills, including ability to present and speak in public.
  6. Integrity and strategic thinking ability.
  7. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job estimates and reports.
  8. Advanced computer skills including software, hardware, programs, and applications.
  9. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, gross margin, mark-up, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
  10. Ability to read and interpret documents such as maps, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
  11. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  12. Effective English communication skills with customers, employees, or the public; bilingual ability preferred but not required.
