We are searching for an enthusiastic person to promote Conant Public Library in Winchester, New Hampshire as the social, educational, and cultural hub of our community.
We prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree and experience managing a library to be the steward of our diverse media, historic building, and museum collections. The director will work with the library board of trustees, members of the community, schools, local service organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to identify the needs of the community.
The director will devote special attention to the development of the collection, programs, and environment for the youth and children of the community. Working thirty-two to thirty-four hours per week, the director will develop long-term strategies, relationships, and programs to address the needs and deploy our library, staff, collections, and other assets to support and enrich the library’s community and the lives of those therein.
