POSITION SUMMARY

USA Lacrosse is looking for a SR Producer, Digital Media to lead the ideation, creation, and execution of creative video and photography initiatives across the organization to support the mission of USA Lacrosse. In this role, you will oversee pre-production planning, storyboarding, videography and photography, non-linear editing, and motion design. You will partner with the Director, Marketing & Content to collaborate with the marketing and communications team, as well as other departments across the organization.

A Typical Day Looks Like…

  • Oversee the production of digital media for USA Lacrosse, including video and photography development for social media, website and email content, advertising, and all other marketing initiatives, ensuring brand alignment and emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute video and photography projects to design stories that fuel the growth of lacrosse, engage with the community, and showcase USA Lacrosse’s National Teams program throughout the country.
  • Create and develop multimedia content for stories and initiatives from the lacrosse community, including videos and photography supporting internal organizational, promotional, social media, and product marketing for all USA Lacrosse events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with editorial, social media, and marketing teams, as well as other internal departments on video concepts, stories, and branded content campaigns.
  • Capture and edit video and audio projects including organizing raw media, designing motion graphics, titling, sound design, media management, and archiving.
  • Lead scripting, designing, and producing live streams and asset distribution.
  • Oversee and maintain a data asset management (DAM) archival platform for all video and photo content.
  • Source, secure, and manage agency and freelance partnerships for video and photography needs.
  • Coordinate with project requestors to ensure workflow, documentation, and design standards are upheld and projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all content aligns with USA Lacrosse’s brand standards and has consistent messaging.
  • Stay up to date on trends with social and digital standards to keep USA Lacrosse at the forefront of its creative initiatives.

Is This You…

  • 5 to 8 years in a hands-on role within the video, photo, production, content and/or digital industry.
  • Knowledge of Sony DSLR family.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder).
  • Experience in scripting, designing, and producing live streams.
  • Compelling portfolio of work with a wide range of digital and multi-media projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Proven experience taking creative briefs to final deliverables.
  • Passion for the creative grind, including being creative, having fun, and being yourself.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility with work schedule, including the ability to work nights and weekends based on event needs.
  • Willingness to learn about the sport of lacrosse and appreciate the need to develop, grow, and fuel the growth of the sport.
  • Ability to align with USA Lacrosse's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Expected Hours of Work

This position is generally expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs. This is a hybrid position and works from the headquarters office in Sparks, MD three (3) days a week with the flexibility to work from home two (2) days a week.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

The total compensation pay range for this position is $75,000 to $93,500 commensurate with experience.

Travel Requirements

Travel will be necessary, between 30% and 50% of the time, involving various modes of travel.
