Ladgov is hiring: Music Director in Warner Robins

Responsibilities:

1. Provide musical directorship for the Chapel Service(s) at Robins Air Base Chapel.
2. Provide musical directorship for a minimum of one (1) rehearsal and one (1) worship service each week for the Protestant and Catholic worship services.
3. Lead the praise team/choir and congregation in worship and vocally lead them as required by the Chaplain/Catholic Priest.
4. Possess sound accompaniment skills, with competent sight-reading ability preferred, and be able to perform music from various worship genres.
5. Coordinate all support requirements with the Chaplain/Catholic Priest or their designated representative.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:

1. Have five (5) or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience (e.g. playing the piano and/or organ in a public performance setting) in a chapel/church setting.
2. Be able to sing and vocally lead the congregation in worship.
3. Be able to plan, organize, and lead a choir/praise team.
4. Be able to sight-read, arrange, improve, play, and score music.
5. Possess the ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, lay leaders, other musicians, parishioners, Chapel Staff, and base personnel.
