Musical Theatre/Music Directors for Youth Classes Job at Improv Playhouse in Lib

Improv Playhouse is currently seeking Musical Theater Directors/ Music Directors for our youth productions in our Libertyville location. We are looking for upbeat, outgoing personalities who not only work hard themselves, but inspire others to work hard too. Must work well with children and have experience teaching in a youth performing arts setting.

North Suburban Educators preferred due to some travel requirements

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children in a theater setting.
2. Must be creative and able to help in other theater aspects including simple set, props, and costume design, and be an independent worker.
3. Must have evening availability for rehearsals and weekend availability for performances (and, depending on the play, weekend rehearsals).
4. Reliable transportation is a must for this position.

Pay: $15-27 per hour, with gas reimbursement for city commuters.
