CBS Colorado's News department is always Covering Colorado First with breaking news, sports, First Alert Weather & more. Learn from anchors, reporters, producers, directors, photojournalists, editors, streaming producers, web producers, and assignment desk editors! We are looking for students majoring or specializing in a broadcast-related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing scripts
  • Conducting interviews
  • Investigate, research, and phone communications
  • Log and edit video
  • Assist with producers, reporters, and social media teams
  • Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors, or Master's students in the fall of 2025. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
  • You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
  • Internship format will be 100% in person.
  • Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
  • Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.

Hiring Salary Range: $20.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
