Remote Sensing and Photography GIS Analyst

About the Job:

• Works on aerial and satellite-based panchromatic and color photography and digitally processed imagery interpretation, analysis, accuracy assessment, and derived products such as planimetric features.
• Includes analysis of imagery sources, delivery systems, and underlying technologies and applications.
• Experience with fixed wing, Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), and satellite-sourced data including multispectral, thermal, 3D mesh and point clouds, and LIDAR data, along with familiarity with sensors.
• Includes surface model creation, digital aerial triangulation analysis, imagery interpretation, thematic map accuracy assessment, and related statistical sampling design and analysis, land cover classification, planimetric data update procedures and processes, and image object detection using artificial intelligence (e.g., solar panels, swimming pools, etc.).
