Forum Communications Company is hiring: Technical Director in Rapid City

KNBN has an immediate opening for a full-time Broadcast Director. NewsCenter1/KNBN-TV is part of Forum Communications Company, a family-owned and -operated company based in Fargo, North Dakota. NewsCenter1 produces over 16 hours of local news, weather, and sports content each week as we continue to grow.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Directing Newscasts
• Ability to operate all studio control equipment for live newscasts
• Handle the ingest of commercials from Traffic and Sales
• Ingest local programming and send to the home office

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be reliable, able to work unsupervised, and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have access to consistent transportation to meet required shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate audio board using two upper extremities at the same time.
• Background in audio or graphic editing preferred.

Expected compensation for this role is between $21 and $23/hour, based on qualifications and experience.
