Position Overview
International is seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to elevate our business to new heights. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in both UX and UI design, with hands-on experience in uncovering user needs through research and transforming those insights into modern, visually appealing designs.
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our commercial vehicle service applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to create seamless experiences that cater to the unique needs of our users in the commercial vehicle service sector.
This hybrid position will support our Digital Solutions department within Service Solutions and be based out of our World Headquarters in Lisle, Illinois, a suburb outside of Chicago.
Responsibilities

Lead the design process from concept to final hand-off, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Conduct user research to uncover insights and inform design decisions.

Design and prototype user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing.

Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.

Support UX Research initiatives as required.

Develop user stories, personas, and storyboards.

Create and maintain design documentation, including wireframes, user flows, and style guides.

Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to support UI development.

Validate and test UI concepts with end users using established usability testing methods.

Track UX trends and look for creative ideas from analogous industries.

Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of digital product design experience

At least 1 year of lead experience

Master’s degree and at least 3 years of digital product design experience

At least 1 year of lead experience
OR

At least 8 years of digital product design experience

At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

Hands-on experience designing for web applications, especially dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that present data through easy-to-use and responsive interfaces.

Experience working with agile product teams to deliver impactful digital experiences.

In-depth understanding of modern design principles and user research methodologies.

Ability to lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development to high-fidelity deliverables, including wireframes, complex user flows, and prototypes.

Experience in creating and maintaining design systems, pattern libraries, and reusable components.

Expert level proficiency in modern design and research tools like Figma, Mural, Maze, or similar.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
