Compensation Range: $35 - 45 per hour

Our client in the telecommunications space is seeking UX and UI Designers for upcoming roles in the new year with 3-5 years of experience for Mid level roles and 5-7 years of experience for senior level roles to join their dynamic team. This contract role offers the opportunity to shape digital experiences for our suite of assets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, user-centric designs. Responsibilities:

  1. Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
  2. Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
  3. Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  4. Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
  5. Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
  6. Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
  7. Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
  8. Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
  9. Generating multiple credible design solutions based on analysis.
  10. Exhibiting mastery of shared tools and software for design.
  11. Identifying appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief and recommending solutions.
  12. Participating in divergent and convergent group work.
  13. Working independently with some guidance to solve larger, more open-ended problems.
  14. Exploring, refining, and documenting solutions thoroughly.
  15. Objectively evaluating and refining concepts based on learnings from prototypes.

Qualifications:

  1. Relevant work experience in UX and/or UI design.
  2. Experience with high-fidelity prototyping and user-centric design principles.
  3. Proficiency with Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
  4. Experience designing technical and business web applications.
  5. Knowledge of Conversational Design for IVR, Chatbot, or similar tools.
  6. Expertise in conversational channels: Chatbot, IVR, SMS, and assisted support.
  7. Portfolio showcasing professional work, including enterprise applications and shopping journeys.
  8. Familiarity with JIRA, Smart Sheets, or Google Suite.
  9. Ability to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  10. Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  11. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or a related field.
