Senior UI/UX Designer
As a UI Designer at Keep Aware, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our platform. This role demands a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, an eye for detail, and the technical skills to bring your designs to life. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
About Keep Aware
Our product & engineering team is hybrid and meets in-person one to 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Design and Prototyping: Create high-fidelity UI designs, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs. Review customer calls to gain a deep understanding of product usability and customer experiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Front-End Development: Implement your designs as proof-of-concepts and collaborate with front-end developers to codify your designs, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience.
- User Feedback: Analyze user feedback and activity, and iteratively improve the user interface.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role in a fast-paced environment. This is considered a senior position and you will be Keep Aware's lead UI/UX Designer.
- Domain expertise: Previous experience designing interfaces and products built for IT or Cybersecurity teams. A strong desire to gain more cyber security knowledge and an understanding of customer needs and challenges.
- Creative Vision: Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
- User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on user needs and business goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
