UX Strategist, Lead

The Opportunity:

As a UI/UX Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and user experience efforts across our products. We are seeking a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer and Developer, focused on designing and developing engaging and intuitive user experiences that make an impact. You will display a passion for understanding the needs and motivations of end-users and delivering experiences that drive business outcomes. In this role, you will work closely with Product leads, Strategic Integrators, Delivery Managers, and End users to deliver scalable interface design patterns to support the creation of a new user experience. You will lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  1. 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, creating intuitive, accessible user experiences for SaaS, COTS, and Web software applications.
  2. Experience with designing short- and long-term UX vision and strategy for products and applications supported.
  3. Experience with design tools, including Sketch, Figma, Lucid or Adobe XD, and visual design.
  4. Experience with modern web standards and front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  5. Experience with collecting and analyzing user behaviors and needs through qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, field studies, surveys, A/B testing, digital experience monitoring, and usability testing.
  6. Experience with applying user-centered design processes that incorporate data, including real user monitoring (RUM) technologies, user insights, and continuous feedback.
  7. Experience with developing, communicating, and measuring UX design and process improvement ideas through prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and design deliverables.
  8. Ability to communicate design concepts across different audiences and varying levels within an organization to gain buy-in and the implementation of valuable outcomes.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Design or Computer Science.

  2. UX/UI Certification.

Compensation:

At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions and provide you with opportunities and choices. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
