Senior UX Designer

Position Summary
As a Senior UX Designer, you will help transform complex information and tasks into easy-to-use designs for our millions of members and associates. To do this, you’ll need to think visually –using techniques like storyboards and sketching –to communicate design concepts. You’ll use your deep knowledge of the UX process (research, conceptual design, prototyping, testing), in collaboration with other team members, to iterate multiple solutions and deliver pixel-perfect designs.
What You'll Do...
- Lead in the creation of business, consumer, and associate product experiences.
- Work without close supervision but seek out and welcome feedback from senior UX leaders and managers.
- Think holistically – about the people using our products, a cohesive design system, and end to end experiences.
- Solve complex problems and work with others with the same passion, to collaborate and merge solutions into a larger structure and create a cohesive design ecosystem.
- Switch gears from deep design thinking to rapid-fire execution.
What You'll Bring...
- Solid blend of interaction and visual design skills and an eye for pixel-perfect detail.
- Foundation of mobile design principles, standards, and practices.
- Passion for building in the ecommerce space.
- An impressive product design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to solve for both business requirements and customer needs.
- Expert skills in Figma: creating components, prototyping, creating excellent handoff ready files for development, etc.
- Track record of deploying user interface standards and conventions, functional communication flows and dynamic, engaging interfaces.
- Strong understanding of design theory and concepts to create effective visual communication with hierarchy and balance (typography, color, space, contrast).
- Ability to work with design templates and patterns to create and maintain a scalable and consistent website.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Bonus points for...
- Complimentary skills in your Product Designer arsenal: prototyping (with Flinto, Framer, Marvel, Principle or similar), user research, motion design, illustration.
- Experience designing compelling experiences for large, customer-facing properties.

Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications...
Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), Driving product development in a user experience area, Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area, Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), UI/UX, Interactive and Visual Design, Electronics Art, Multimedia Design, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
