As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You’ll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Support privacy awareness, communications and content creation for Prime Video.
  2. Support the overall development and maturation of the Prime Video Privacy Program.
  3. Support the Prime Video Privacy Bar Raiser Program (PBR) as a subject matter expert.
  4. Help build and scale the PBR program for PV.
  5. Support holistic privacy reviews for new and existing Prime Video applications.
  6. Maintain an understanding of privacy regulatory and industry developments.
  7. Perform operational deep dives on privacy-related processes and systems.
  8. Identify, gather, track, and report privacy metrics.
  9. Manage several projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
  10. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

A day in the life

You will work with product and engineering teams from initiation to deployment and will be responsible for the security and privacy throughout the development lifecycle, interfacing with key stakeholders and driving programs to secure the customer experience.

About the team

This position will be part of a team within the Amazon Prime Video READI (Resilience, Availability & Demand Insights) organization. The Security and Privacy engineering lead’s mission is to align Prime Video security and privacy business objectives, while managing risk and meeting security and privacy requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Prior experience in Privacy
  3. Former role in privacy with knowledge of regulatory and industry requirements and standards
  4. Prior experience leading projects with tight deadlines that involve the use of automated and manual systems and supporting internal customers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Professional certifications in privacy (IAPP)
  2. Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers
  3. Written and verbal communication skills
  4. Ability to work with little to no supervision
  5. Proven knowledge of domestic and global privacy regulations and applying them in a technology environment.
  6. Experience developing and maintaining business unit scorecards
  7. Experience with audit, metrics, and dashboards a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $196,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
