Position Overview:

The Market Visual Manager (MVM) is responsible for executing the brand’s visual strategy to create a unique and dynamic customer experience that supports stylists, drives sales, and aligns with Evereve style aesthetic. The MVM reports to a Regional Visual Manager and works collaboratively with Regional Directors, Store management teams and visual support teams. Please note travel is required in this role. The MVM is responsible for training management teams and support teams (PTMs and Stylists), of each store in their area. Training will be focused on the development of visual merchandising skills, visual consistency, translations of floor sets, customer journey (mapping), fixture blocking and storytelling. Through this support and training, each store will be able to implement and maintain the aesthetics of the brand while understanding how merchandising initiatives can assist in hitting their monthly and yearly sales goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Mentor and support store visual support teams (FTM/PTM)
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence others
  • Build relationships and communicate with all business partners on a regular basis and comply with communication standards (follow AVM/MVM communication guidelines)
  • Identify department and company growth opportunities and bring solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HO departments as needed to improve store performance and store visual merchandising compliance
  • Store openings/relocations/remodel planning and lead the visual installation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Maintain a growth mindset
  • Fashion credible, up to date on current trends and contemporary fashion brands. Willing to take risks with fashion and be an early adopter of new trends

Merchandising:

  • Merchandise stores weekly while simultaneously training and teaching store teams Evereve visual principles
  • Participate and support in floorset within your market monthly
  • Participate in local and remote stores with merchandising training and finding solutions to store-specific issues
  • Resolve store-specific merchandising challenges that require translation based on store size, store type, and inventory levels
  • Responsible for creating brand consistency across all stores using Evereve visual merchandising principles
  • Participate in and own special projects
  • Manage visual merchandising/customer experience in stores within identified region
  • Partner with RVM team to continue to develop best practices and visual skill set

Training/Development:

  • Identify visual training opportunities within each store and present solutions to these stores. Participate in the solution
  • Facilitate visual training workshops within region to build store team visual understanding and identify talent
  • Partner with HO team to develop new/better training materials
  • Develop and maintain merchandising skills within yourself

Travel/Store Visits:

  • Manage and develop individual workflow/travel calendar
  • Visual store visits weekly
  • Store opening/remodels/relocations

Hiring/Onboarding:

  • Identify/develop internal talent
  • Own and Manage AVM/MVM leadership
  • Own Leadership rhythm documents and expectations

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of merchandising experience (preferably in apparel merchandising)
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising or Fine Arts preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel programs
  • Possess an elevated creative sensibility with a general passion for fashion retail
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent training, leadership and facilitation skills
  • Travel required within territory, remote territory, new store openings and to home office
  • Demonstrate strong conflict management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and working independently
