Job Description

Experience: 8+ years

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience with client-side JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Angular 2, Bootstrap, React, Vue, jQuery)
2. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and XHTML
3. Proficient understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms (e.g. Sass/LESS)
4. Proficient understanding of versioning control systems (e.g. Git/Subversion/svn)
5. Proficient understanding of JavaScript unit testing frameworks (e.g. Jasmine/Mocha)
6. Familiarity with web application security issues and security by design principles
7. Familiarity with Agile practices
8. Basic understanding of task automation tools/toolkits (e.g. NPM, Gulp, Karma, Jenkins)
9. Team player with a strong sense of self-motivation
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment
11. Strong ability to concisely and accurately convey ideas and information in written and verbal form to audiences with diverse backgrounds
12. Strong ability to analyze, break down, and find creative solutions to difficult problems

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience delivering software with a Test-driven development approach
2. Experience with development tools such as Atom and Sublime
3. Knowledge on developing accessibility compliant web sites (WCAG 2.0 AA)
4. Experience with Web Content Management Systems
5. Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket
6. Financial Industry experience preferred
