What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems while maintaining all websites and software applications
  2. Create solutions for identified problems or bugs in web applications
  3. Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
  4. Participate in design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
  5. Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience within Mobile and Web frameworks/SDKs/languages such as HTML, GO, Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, XCode, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Flutter/Dart
  2. Experience with architecture and design, including design patterns and scaling
  3. Programming experience with at least two modern languages such as Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Dart, Python, or C#
  4. Understanding of micro-services architecture and extensible REST APIs
  5. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  2. Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
  3. Experience in Application monitoring and performance assessment
  4. Familiarity with Gradle and building out an application store on Windows/Mac OS
  5. Strong problem-solving ability and analysis skills
